Jacob Ashton

Jacob is an improviser and musician based in Austin, TX. After moving to Austin from Anchorage, Alaska in 2014, Jacob discovered a love for improv at The Hideout Theater and eventually gravitated toward narrative and character-driven storytelling. He has trained in musical improv with Laura Hall and played in the festival troupe team with Thorn and Petal Stick at the UnScripted Shakespeare Festival in NYC. Outside of improv, Jacob is a software engineering leader, musician, Ki Aikido practitioner, and enthusiastic traveler. He is deeply grateful for the creativity, friendship, and community he has found through improv.
