Paul Cook

Paul first discovered the joy of improv as a college freshman, but school, career, and life soon took center stage. In a new chapter of life, he returned to the art form in Austin, Texas, studying at The Institution, Hideout, and ColdTowne theaters. Many classes later, he teamed up with fellow improvisers to create shows inspired by the romantic comedies of Jane Austen—blending his love of history, fascination with social norms, and the chance to portray beaux, cads, servants, and English nobility alike, all in pursuit of status, money, and love. As a founding member of Jane Austen Improv, Paul is as delighted as anyone by the unexpected adventures and success the troupe has enjoyed. Many thanks to Kathi for her support throughout.
